Freaky Friday – Toilet Humor
Um, cakers- I have a bone to pick with anyone that has ever requested or made a toilet (with feces in it- no less) cake
WTF?!?!
I cannot believe that I have to share the planet with people that think that these cakes are in any way acceptable – how in the h-e-double hockey sticks can you possible eat this?!
I mean… WTF?!?!
Now, I love jokes as much as the next person, and I enjoy razzing someone about getting old – but seriously?
Really?
A toilet with poop in it – that is cake – that you are going to eat?

This looks like it’s melting – much like the smell from a real toilet would do to you. Does everyone leave pee drops on the toilet….. uh I don’t – maybe it starts when you’re 50.

I knew I recognized your name
Sandy told me about you. My favorite is Spongebob sitting on presents and a cake on top of another stack of presents. Sometimes I am amazed that sculptures like that are totally made of cake.
I do hope I didn’t offend your talent, that wasn’t my intention. Every Friday I post something about a cake or type of cake that is freaky – hence Freaky Friday. Some designs are hard for me to stomach because people will be eating it. Of course, rationally I know it is made of sugar and tastes amazing – I just can’t get past the irrational thought in my head of what it looks like. Last week is was this giant gross slimy worm – blech.

She has a distaste for cupcake cakes and lets the blog-o-sphere know… in addition to all the cakes gone horribly wrong that she finds.
Everyone has different opinions on what’s palatable, what’s funny, what’s art…. like Charm City Cakes doesn’t make anything that looks like a real person because of the “weird” factor…. but you can find many a cake that people have done that look like a human – especially babies, which is creepy.
I’m certainly not trying to rid the world of toilet cakes – it’s just not my cup of tea. I leave the bathroom humor to my 10 year old son – boys are so gross
To each his own – and this just isn’t mine – no malice intended. We each create what we will and won’t do as part of our business – it’s all personal. Which is why we have so many awesome cakeries in the area!
