I stumbled on this awesome cake – I don’t remember how – but I think someone posted it on Twitter. I was immediately intrigued! How did they do that? And it looks divine for my taste buds.
I’ve kept the tab up on Firefox, wanting to remember it because I want to try it. I haven’t tried it yet – but in due time cakers…. in due time.
Today I was racking my brain… what tip or how-to or tutorial was I going to share with my awesome cakers? And it was staring at me – lovingly – waiting for me to notice it’s tab and realize the opportunity to share this creative idea.
In my research to find the amazing baker of this cake – I discovered her past, her sister, and her secret 
Gesine Bullock-Prado
Her name is Gesine Bullock-Prado. She used to be a high-powered Hollywood Executive. Her sister is Sandra Bullock. She is a closet master-baker.
How does one go from a closet full of designer clothes and head of a Hollywood production company to owner and baker of a small bakery in Montpelier, Vermont?
Thankfully, to find out how she went from Hollywood exec to Vermont baker, she wrote a book Confections of a Closet Master Baker. I, for one cannot wait to read 
it. Published in September of 2009, and has received many fantastic reviews. She even shares some delectable German recipes.
